Decades ago, Mel Brooks made a movie called Space Balls, which was a parody of Star Wars, and while not pee your pants funny, it had its moments – and “Ludicrous Speed” is one of them. When the speed of light is tooo slow, then the only recourse is ludicrous speed; 1x faster than light speed.
