Have you heard of brutalist websites ? The above Creative Director Pascal Deville spends a great deal of time dredging up this junk food of the web. I, however, find something nourishing about the simple, plain aesthetic of these sites. In fact, having recently spent hours discussing the high bounce rates endured by single page sites (with full page video and px scrolling) I get indigestion at the current state of online design. Everything done today is designed is sacrificed to the SERP. That sucks.
